Biography
Captain Jayant Joshi served with the 254 Army Aviation Squadron of the Indian Army. On 3rd August 2021, he was flying as the co-pilot of an ALH Rudra attack helicopter during an operational sortie over Ranjit Sagar Lake in Jammu and Kashmir when the helicopter crashed into the lake. Captain Jayant Joshi made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty at the age of 27. His courage, professionalism and unwavering commitment to the nation continue to inspire generations of Indians. He is remembered with deep respect for his dedicated service and ultimate sacrifice for the country.
