Biography
Captain Karamjit Singh Bakshi was a 27-year-old officer of 9 Punjab Regiment, commissioned in 2019. On 11 February 2025, while leading a reconnaissance patrol near the LoC in Akhnoor sector, he was killed in an IED blast. He was just weeks away from his wedding on April 5, 2025, to an Army doctor stationed in Jammu.
