Shailendra Singh Bhadoriya

Biography

Shailendra Singh Bhadoriya served as a Daffadar in the Armoured Corps of the Indian Army. On 22 January 2026, he was among the troops on operational movement when the armoured Casspir vehicle they were travelling in lost control on the frost-covered Bhaderwah–Chamba road at the 9,000-foot Khanni Top in Doda district, Jammu & Kashmir. The vehicle plunged into a 200-foot gorge and he made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty.
