Biography
Ajay Lakra served as a Sepoy in the Indian Army. On 22 January 2026, while travelling in an armoured Casspir vehicle with troops for an anti-terror operation in Doda district, Jammu & Kashmir, the vehicle skidded off the frost-covered Bhaderwah–Chamba road at Khanni Top and plunged into a deep gorge. He made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty.
