Major Shaitan Singh Bhati led his company with unparalleled bravery at Rezang La during the 1962 Sino-Indian War. Despite being heavily outnumbered, he motivated his men to fight to the last man, inflicting heavy casualties on the enemy before succumbing to his wounds.
