Biography
Ravindra Singh hailed from Agar village in Dashjula Patti, Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand. He joined the 15th Garhwal Rifles in 2008 and served for over seventeen years, known among his peers for his humble nature and warm conduct. While deployed on operational duty in Along (Aalo), Arunachal Pradesh, he suffered a sudden heart attack and passed away in the line of duty in January 2026 at the age of 36. He was cremated with full military honours at the confluence of the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers in Rudraprayag.
