Biography
Daljit Singh served as a Lance Havildar in the 21 Grenadiers of the Indian Army and hailed from the Samba district of Jammu & Kashmir. In early April 2026, while on active duty at the Thalodi camp in Samba district, he suffered a fatal heart attack and passed away in the line of duty. He was laid to rest with full military honours in his home region.
