Biography

Major Maha Singh Chib was an officer in the Indian Army. He was awarded the Maha Vir Chakra posthumously for his exceptional courage and leadership during the defense of Naushahra in the 1947-48 Indo-Pakistani War. He led his company in repulsing numerous attacks by the enemy, displaying exemplary bravery.
