Biography
Jobanjeet Singh served as a Sowar in the Armoured Corps of the Indian Army. On 22 January 2026, the armoured Casspir vehicle carrying him and other troops for an anti-terror operation lost control on the frost-covered Bhaderwah–Chamba road at Khanni Top in Doda district, Jammu & Kashmir, and plunged into a deep gorge. He made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty.
